Dream Calculator© is comprised of 12 sheets, each of which serves a different function.
This sheet serves as a general orientation to the software. It also contains a link to our web site and a few important guidelines.
The questions on this sheet deal with various aspects of your retirement. Because retirement timing, retirement income, and life expectancy are all critical factors in personal financial planning, you should complete this sheet very carefully.
The goal of this sheet is to assess your overall attitude towards risk (risk tolerance). This will then be reflected in the investment strategy Dream Calculator© will recommend to you.
Completing this sheet might be time consuming, since it addresses multiple aspects of your financial life. You will be asked to provide detailed information about your assets and liabilities, income and expenses, budget, taxes, life insurance, etc. In addition, as you complete this sheet, you will need to refer to various financial documents.
This is the most interesting sheet to work with, because it is here that your financial goals will be evaluated. As you set your goals, including their value and timing, you will instantly see whether you can achieve them. You could then adjust the goals as necessary, until all of them can be reached. In addition, the software will construct the capital fluctuations diagram and calculate the total wealth you will accumulate during your lifetime. Sheet 6: “Asset Allocation” After all of your financial goals have been set, Dream Calculator© will help you re-allocate your financial assets in accordance with the proposed investment strategy. You will see two charts depicting the current and the suggested allocation of your assets.
